The University of Central Florida (UCF) has continually expanded since establishing in 1963. It is now recognized by numerous publications as one of the best universities in the United States with many standout programs available to students. , UCF offers 103 bachelor programs, 91 masters programs, 34 doctoral programs, and three specialist degree programs. • Founded in 1968 and located in east Orlando, only 13 miles (21 kilometres) from downtown.

• First opened in 1983, the Rosen College of Hospitality Management is located near the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort and Orange County Convention Centre.
